Our Experience

Cymes Conservation is an architectural practice and historic buildings consultancy. We can read and understand what is special about a historic building and its setting. They have so many stories to tell and so many to come, yet untold. We’ll repair and unlock their potential, to enhance their significance and the experience of those who use them; in an informed, creative, viable and sustainable manner.

Cymes Conservation is led by Simon Revill, an AABC conservation accredited architect and historic building consultant. Simon is known for bespoke, high quality conservation services with attention to detail and design flair.

Previous Clients: Over the years, Simon has provided conservation architect and heritage consultancy services for nationally significant projects, including for end clients such as charitable trusts, local authorities and city councils; contractors; church diocese; and, private clients.

Awards: Simon’s professional work has been recognised with Green Apple and Civic Trust Awards; used as case studies for exemplary conservation by English Heritage and Cheshire West & Chester Council.
