The Stair Climbing Company is a family-run business on a mission to create accessible places. Our Stair Climbers are designed to help people with mobility challenges travel up and down the stairs with dignity and ease. Providing access and evacuation for heritage and restored buildings, a Stair Climber is easy to operate, requires no permanent fixtures and is a cost-effective access solution.

A Stair Climber can transform a place with limited or no access to become fully accessible immediately. It provides an inclusive customer journey for visitors, eliminating barriers to access.

Our Stair Climber range is versatile, handling winding staircases, tight turns as well as indoor and outdoor steps. They are compatible with most wheelchairs and can easily transform from a wheelchair carrier into a seated model for extra flexibility. With no fixture required they are sympathetic to the fabric of the building making them the perfect solution for creating accessible heritage buildings.

Our Stair Climbers provide access for historic sites including The National Trust, The Roman Baths, The British Academy, Claridges and as well as other leading venues to help open access more widely.
